If you’ve been a long-time UOW reader, you’ve probably heard about my friend, Carolee, and her amazing pay-it-forward story that started The 93 Dollar Club. If not, you can check out the post I wrote over a year ago here. And the group has made an even greater impact since.
One random act of kindness went viral and The 93 Dollar Club has now raised over $120,000 for Second Harvest Food Bank. They’ve also been nominated for a VH1 Do Something Award. Yes, it’s that big.
I know, I know. I’ve been selfishly asking you to vote for me once a day in the Circle of Moms Bay Area Mom Blogs contest. And you’ve been selflessly giving it your all. But I’m going to ask you to take a few minutes to make a real difference—not for me, but for Bay Area families in real need of help.
Please, please vote for The 93 Dollar Club and spread the word. If they win, VH1 will donate $100,000 to Second Harvest Food Bank—practically doubling the group’s efforts overnight. And putting much-needed food in hungry mouths.
Thank you so much for your time and support!
