It’s been an exciting week. I’m finally working on giving my site a facelift (well, I hired a lovely and talented woman to anyway) and I’ve been neck and neck with the leader for the top spot of the Circle of Moms Best Bay Area Mom Blog contest (yes, you can still vote once every 24 hours for the next 5 days). Thanks for all the great feedback and support along the way! I have lots to write about in the next couple weeks, but here are some quick insights from the week past.

Lesson #1: When your 2-month old can smile on command, there’s a pretty good chance you’re taking too many pictures.

Lesson #2: If I had a nickel for every time Big said, “You’re so mean!” this week, I’d have $1.85. Give or take $.15.

Lesson #3: When you serve your kids waffles on plates that say “I love veggies!”, you don’t feel quite as guilty.

Lesson #4: The whole “witching hour(s)” thing can be dramatically improved by changing it to the “which-ing hour(s)”. As in, which will I have? Red or white?

Lesson #5: Each delighted scream and giggle makes the time and achy fingers of filling water balloons so worth it.

Wishing you a winning week filled with sugary smiles and the good kind of sass.

As always, I love your posts! I now know and recognize “your voice” so, even if your blog was not identified as you…I would know it was you… That goes to prove that you have made your little family
highly recognizable and as Martha Stewart says, “It’s a good thing!”

Thanks, Joanne! This voice has so much to say, but not nearly enough time to say it. I’ll do my best to continue entertaining you if you keep reading!

Amy, you always put a big smile (giggle) on my face! I’m still voting! XO

Giggles for votes sounds like a fair trade to me. Thanks so much!
