I’m not really one for boot camping. That is, unless there’s wine. So it’s no wonder everyone had such a good time at the Bloggy one…
This Week’s Spotlight: Mirassou Pinot Noir
Last year when I went to Bloggy Boot Camp in San Diego, I was hugely pregnant. Which meant I had to miss out on one of the really fun parts of the event—the Mirassou wine tasting. As one of the conference sponsors (thank you, Mirassou!), they hosted a cocktail party, complete with a toast and chat with David Mirassou. He shared his family history, told us a bit about what it’s like to be from America’s oldest winemaking family and let us taste (generous pours of) their varietals. Though I didn’t taste then, I have since. And the very affordable Pinot Noir and Chardonnay have become go-to wines for us. The Moscato was the conference favorite, so that’s next on my list!
What will you be enjoying this weekend?
