It’s true. My house is the cleanest it’s been in a long time. Which explains why my blog is the un-written-est it’s been in a long time. While I promise to let everything (house-wise) fall apart again next week, I figure I’ll give you some fun stuff I wrote over at Disney Baby to hold you over until then. I mean, if slideshows of adorable kids don’t make you smile, I don’t know what will. (Except perhaps some really cool art, that is.) And if I happen to inspire a Halloween costume idea for your little one, all the better.

Best Halloween Costumes for Crawlers
If you have a baby on all fours, please please dress them in a crawler costume. These are some fun ones for inspiration.

Eat ‘Em Up: Food-Related Halloween Costumes
Even I’m sick of the ketchup bottle costume we made, but the Disney Baby audience loved this post. It’s my most popular to date!

Disney-Inspired Nursery Art from Etsy
Even if your little one isn’t so little anymore, this is really cool, modern stuff. Even I want the license plate princess crown.

10 Reasons to Love Having a Little Boy
Hint: One of the reasons is not so they can go to 1st grade and be mean to their mom. But the picture above is one of them.

10 Reasons to Love Having a Little Girl
For some reason people just like little boys more. (Ok, not really, but the post I wrote about boys was MUCH more popular. What’s your theory on that?)

I’d love for you to take a click through these slideshows. And let me know what you think. Also, if you have ideas of what you’d like to see on Disney Baby, please do reach out to me in the comments or email me at usingourwords (at) yahoo (dot) com. Thanks!

Uh oh. The last time a friend told me their house was perfectly clean was when they put it on the market. Please say it ain’t so!

Clean is all relative. It’s not going-on-the-market clean. Just clean-ish. Which is a whole lot cleaner than usual. My mind just needed a break this week.

Well if you ever need writing fodder, I’m willing to help. However I don’t know if your followers are ready to see the real side of high school and college!

I’m planning to stay in complete denial that Pink is closer to her high school years than I am. But I’ll let you know when I’m ready for the truth.
