I’ve been hiding out on Disney Baby and in Atlanta this week. I’m still collecting my thoughts from a very fun blogger trip that Coca-Cola hosted, so stay tuned for more (plus the pro’s pics have yet to arrive and they’ll do the event much more justice).

In the meantime, I wanted to share a couple things. First of all, a number of lovely readers (YOU?) nominated me for a very cool honor: Red Tricycle’s Totally Awesome Award for Most Influential Blog. Not in the Bay Area. Not in Northern California. Everywhere. How totally awesome, right? A lot of bloggers feel like these contests are silly and begging for attention. While I’ll take positive attention anywhere I can get it, that’s not why I’m telling you about this. I’m telling you because I truly feel honored that people reading this little ol’ blog took the time to nominate me for something so huge. I thank you for your support, loyalty and encouragement. You guys are the reason companies like Coca-Cola are taking note of this blog and our community. If you’d like to vote, you may do so (it’s just a one-time vote per email address) here. Thank you again!

Next, I wrote some stuff on Disney Baby I think you all will like. Check ’em out:

DIY Ghost Footprint Bodysuit for Baby
Here’s a hint, this can be done by all ages on any material (shirt, plate, paper). A fun way to get in the Halloween spirit while avoiding the spooks.

Grandpa: Gone But Not Forgotten
On the year anniversary of my father’s death, I wrote to tell Pink a bit about her grandpa.

A Halloween Story: Starring Your Baby
Let’s face it, this can only get better as your kid becomes more active…so don’t let the “Baby” throw you. This is great for kids of all ages.

Tips for Moms on Bed Rest
Some quick, easy things to do once you get that daunting news that you’ll be spending the rest of your pregnancy in bed. A few of my friends who have been through it as well shared their thoughts on how friends can help moms on bed rest…stay tuned for that later this week.

Thank you, as always for your total awesomeness. Have a great week!
