While I may not seem like I’m blogging all that much these days, I have been busy. It’s just that other sites have kindly featured my writing. And since you’re nice enough to read my stuff here, I’m hoping you’ll read my stuff elsewhere too. Here’s the fun that’s awaiting you out there on the interwebs!

Instagram Isn’t Always Telling The Full Story
When I went to a luncheon at Dot Complicated, we had a really wonderful discussion about technology. One of the things that came up is that social media (Instagram, FB, Pinterest) can make you feel like everyone else is doing it right — parenting, party planning, traveling, crafting, decorating, dressing, volunteering, working — except for you, of course. Even when that’s definitely not the case. I took on this topic in this article for Dot Complicated, and would love to hear your thoughts too!

I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends
Prefer lighthearted and fun? My latest at Project: Underblog is for you. I watch network TV (gasp!). Some people might say too much. (You know, people who are busy crafting, pinning, and being perfect.) But that doesn’t stop me from counting down to next week…

And a Project: Underblog side note: In October, our blogiversary!, we’ll be highlighting a different blogger each day with #31days31voices. If you write, I hope you’ll consider submitting a piece. If you read, be sure to subscribe so you can discover new writers. #31days31voices

5 Things I Want My Kids to Know About Me Someday
Given that you already know all this about me, my kids should too, right? What do you want your kids to know someday? Chime in on my Yahoo! Shine Parenting Guru post!

Thanks so much for joining me on this journey around the web! (Even if you didn’t have to leave your couch. And, if you like your couch as much as I do, you’ll want to read that Project: Underblog post I mentioned.)
