As many of you know, I’m a contributor to a site that holds a really special place in my heart, Project: UnderBlog. It was born out of a BlogHer roommate pow wow, and it’s grown to be a really special place for bloggers — and even writers who don’t have their own blog — to connect with others and share their stories with a new audience.

Recently, the lovely Christina (Project: UnderBlog Founder and author) and Heidi (Project: UnderBlog Managing Editor and the brilliant mind behind the Love Each Step blog), have been working hard to engage and inspire the audience even more. If you’re a blogger/writer — or aspiring to become one — I invite you to come see how the site has evolved. Check out the Better Blogger Series we just launched. Like all things Underbloggy, these interviews don’t highlight SEO or monetization tips, but the things that have helped these writers become authentic, respected voices in the blogosphere (yes, that’s a real work we writerly types use). It’s such a refreshing approach! And if you have ideas to add to our new Friday Favorites column, be sure to reach out to Christina and Heidi on Facebook or Twitter.

Here are the two posts I’ve written most recently for the site. I hope you’ll cruise on over to enjoy them, along with the rest of the site…

Spontaneous. Fun?
A couple months ago, I felt like my kids and I needed to live life on the edge. (Ok, not the edge, edge, but a bit closer to it.) So we did. Here’s what happened.

Anything But Routine
In case you doubted it, I’m a bit all over the map. Just a month after the need for spontaneity, I longed for the simplicity of routine. My gosh, motherhood is complicated.

Thanks to all of you who have somehow supported Project: Underblog along the way. We love you for it!
