I’ve written a bit about a roommate conversation that took place a couple years ago at BlogHer. You know, the one that brought Project: Underblog to life? Well, my dear friend, Christina shared other ideas and dreams over the course of those few days as well. And, as she showed by quickly creating and building Project: Underblog, Christina isn’t just a dreamer, she’s a doer.
One of the things she told me was that she wanted to start writing romance novels. I’ll admit, I haven’t really read that genre, so like so many things I learned about Christina that weekend, I was a bit surprised. In a good way, of course. Because while I have many friends trying to make the leap from blogger to author, she had a very clear vision of where that leap would take her. And, I’m thrilled to share, that over the past couple weeks, she landed right where she belongs: in the distinguished role of published author.
Reverie is beautiful story set in Montana in 1883. I’ve been soaking up the book (and can’t wait to see how it ends) about the loveable Hetty who was orphaned at a young age and feels unworthy of having a family of her own. Her emotional and physical journey have me joining her and cheering for her every step of the way. (And Isaac Wheeler, another broken character is pretty darn intriguing as well.)
I’m so very excited to share this Christian historical romance novel with you, along with an Instagram contest Christina (@ccyother) is holding. Because you could win your very own signed copy of her debut novel…yes, there are more on the way!
Please join me in celebrating Christina! Buy the book, spread the word, and enter her fun contest. This lovely friend of mine has worked so hard to celebrate others’ words through her brainchild Project: Underblog, and now I’m thrilled to be celebrating hers!
