I happy to be partnering with an innovative new concept in savings, wRipple app, to bring you this post. As always, all opinions are my own.

Things I Love:
Scoring a great deal
Technology that simplifies life
Supporting local small businesses
Sharing good stuff on social media

Things I Don’t Love:
Shopping
Organizing paperwork
Finding things in piles of paperwork
Getting to the store and realizing I left the coupon I came to the store to use at home

Knowing all of this, it’s no surprise that I’m really excited to introduce a freelance client of mine that just launched in the Bay Area, wRipple. This app is a totally new concept that provides on-demand savings for users. No need to purchase a daily deal, bring a coupon, or wait for a sale. Just visit a partnering retailer and select the deal you want to cash in on in your wRipple app. Sync your smartphone with the cashier, and—in exchange for the savings—the app will autoshare the deal to your Facebook page setting the ripple effect into motion so your friends can cash in too.

If you’re in the SF Bay Area, you can give it a go now at spots like G Food Lounge, Tacqueria Angelica, and Ravit’s Watches and Jewlery. (Click here to download wRipple.) If you think some of your favorite local shops would be great partners (why not save money at the places you already frequent?!), submit them at the bottom of the wRipple homepage. The more partners, the more savings, the more your friends will thank you (and buy you great gifts from your favorite shops). You can also sign up for updates on the site so you’re in the know as the list of retailers and locations grows.

So, what do you think? Is this something you’d consider trying?
