I’m thrilled to be partnering with Minute Maid to bring you this post that highlights a few of the things I’ve learned about Halloween since becoming a mom. As always, all opinions are my own.
When Big was a baby ten — yes, ten! — Halloweens ago, I should have learned, things almost never go the way you think they will. Kids will be fickle. Costumes will fall apart. And, as it happened on my first Halloween as a mom, traffic will be so bad it will take you two hours to get home from work and you’ll miss trick-or-treating entirely.
But the truth is, even when things go wrong, the real fun of Halloween is being creative, venturing to cool farms to find funky pumpkins, and running around the neighborhood — together.
I’ve taken my Lessons theme to the Minute Maid Good Minute blog this month, so I hope you’ll come enjoy some adorable pictures and share in some funny mishaps. Then, most importantly, I hope you remember to embrace the chaos and really soak up the fun of the season. (Yes, I’m talking to me.)
