I’m happy to be partnering with Minute Maid to bring you this post that highlights parents doin’ good. As always, all opinions are my own.
If you’ve been a reader for awhile, you know that holiday mishaps are a family tradition in our house. Goodness knows we try to create a magical holiday season (perhaps too hard), but gingerbread houses shatter, Christmas trees don’t fit, and the kids can’t get through the season without speculating why Mrs. Claus needed so much toilet paper all those years ago we ran into her at the grocery store.
Through the years, I’ve come to realize that each family has its own way of doing the holidays. Some DIY their way to j-o-y. Others bake beautiful treats to fill the hearts (and bellies) of those around them. Some create picturesque memories with remarkable grace. And others ha, ha, ha their way to ho, ho, ho.
The point of the season is to embrace the magic and create memories. And no matter how you go about that, I’m confident that you’re doin good.
